“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
It seems like such a simple concept, which I guess it really is. We have power, given to us by the Holy Spirit (so it is nothing to do with us), and we are to use that power to go tell people about Jesus. The simple fact is, I don’t. Even when I go on trips to tell people about Jesus, I don’t tell people about Jesus. I freeze up with the uncomfortableness. Everyday I go home and sleep on my nice bed, get all the snacks I want, and be comfortable in the air conditioning. I guess it is easy to fall into the rut of the familiar. There in lies the problem, I am born again, I have trusted in Jesus for salvation, but I don’t want to tell people, whats the deal? God has been dealing with me about rededicating my life to Him, but I just don’t want it to be lip service. I want it to be a genuine rededication to Jesus. I want my life to used for His glory alone. For you alone King Jesus.
