She’s growing on me. We are nearly halfway through(hard to believe). We go to the Dr. next Thursday to try and find out the sex of the baby. I will keep everyone posted.

OK, I love dark chocolate. As a matter of fact if I had to eat a chocolate bar I would prefer that it be dark chocolate. There are some exceptions to this rule for me. Case in point the Reeses’ Peanut Butter Cup. It is peanut butter coated in milk chocolate. So when I saw this I was pumped.

When I bit into this I was like ‘this is pretty good’, but there was something that was wrong. It just didn’t taste right. I just wasn’t a Reeses’ Cup. Kinda how a Mini Peanut Butter Cup doesn’t taste the same, or as good for that matter. Are there any other types of candy or food that they have changed a little bit from the original and it ruined it for you?

I was just wondering if anyone else knows about or has childhood memories of the Letter People. I can be the only one.

I have the greatest wife in the world. Not only is she smokin’ hot, and the mother of our two children(second on the way), but she thinks about me at times when we are not together. Case in point, see the picture below.

As you can see my sweet daughter is holding a bag from LaMar’s Donuts. LaMar’s if one of my favorite places, and my wife was sweet enough to stop and get me some donuts. How awesome is my wife, she rocks. Rockin’ enough to bring me LaMar’s.

What if the family turned to Jesus, and stopped asking Oprah what to do.
From the moment I heard those words I knew that this band was going to be different, and I knew that I was going to be a fan. And to this day I still am. Recently I have been listening to the Lifesong album which is Crowns second album. Their songs are just so passionate and truthful. The boldness they take in their music is just awesome. I am also so challenged and encouraged whenever I hear Mark Hall talk. All the members of Crowns are minister in one way or another, and Mark is a youth guy. They actually all met in the youth group of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.

I love you guys, keep rocking out boldly for Jesus.

Today I am just tired. It is not that my life is that demanding, or that I have that physical of a job, but life is just wearing me out. I sat at home with Avery most of the day today, and I can honestly say that I am more tired now that I was when I woke up at 5:30 this morning. Hoping that fulltime employment will come soon so that I can get into a better routine. With the new baby on the way I am wanting to start that routine more than ever.

It is 4:24, and I am in my office getting ready to present this message “Loving God, loving others” to our students. However the overwhelming thought fills my mind, ‘Do I love God?’ The answer to that question is yes, but do I? And how much do I love him? Does that make sense? Over the past two months I have seen God’s spirit move in ways that I never have in my life. I have had opportunities laid before me (didn’t take all of them, even though I should have). I have seen God’s word open to me in ways that I never have. So I have to ask, ‘Do I Love God?’ Jesus, I pray that you will find me madly in love with you more every day with no compromises, excuses, or questions. I Love You Jesus.

Well I have been at First Baptist Hokes Bluff about a month now. It has been a great time. I had a huge wave of emotions about leaving MeadowBrook, and a great amount of fear about entering into something that I am really not all that good at, but God has been so faithful, and I can honestly say I know this is where God wants us to be right now, and I believe, if it is his will for the next few years. We’ll see, He is in charge. Anyway, on to the tour.

This is the celling in the sanctuary, the picture doesn't really do justice, but I think it is very beautiful.

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. Acts 7:54,57
I am going through the book of Acts in my quiet time right now, and I was really convicted by these verses. This is the reaction of the “Religious Folks” to Stephen for his preaching of the gospel and speaking the name of Jesus. He had no qualms with giving his life for Jesus, he just had such a passion for Him that he would do anything for Him, including die. With this in mind, what am I doing personally for Jesus. I can’t recall the last time I shared the hope of Jesus with someone. I can’t remember a time when I boldly stood up for my faith. I live in a country where more than likely, in my lifetime, I will not have to worry about this type of persecution. So why am I not bold about my faith?
Jesus, please give me a passion for people, a passion for you. That at all costs and no matter the circumstances I will be boldly living for you. Make me like you Jesus. Amen.

This was at Old Navy on Saturday. Thank goodness Laura is pregnant, because it is obvious that Avery needs a sibling.
